What might appear at first glance as a duplicate charge is usually a harmless pre-authorization hold, meant to ensure the card you're using is valid and that you have enough funds to complete the purchase.

The hold should disappear from your account within 2-5 days for most financial institutions, but can remain for up to 14 business days depending on your bank. If the authorization is still showing beyond 14 business days, you should contact your bank for more help.

In some cases, a single order might appear on your billing statement as multiple orders if it's been authorized and billed in increments. Try adding up the amounts and see if it matches how much you recall spending during a session.
